undertake a progressive reflection on the underpinning concepts of rehabilitation from an individual, family/whanau and community viewpoint.

You are required to write an on‐going reflective journal to record the progress of your learning on this course. A journal helps you make sense of your learning about the underpinning concepts of rehabilitation from an individual, family/whanau and community perspective. Through weekly or daily entries in your reflective journal include:

 Points that you found especially interesting in your readings, discussions or visits to community agencies.
 Questions that came up in your mind related to your readings, discussions or visits to community agencies.
 Your thoughts and feelings about how well the course is meeting your needs.
 How your learning in this course is related to what you’re learning in other ways.
 Thoughts and feelings about the extent to which models of rehabilitation are practiced in community agencies.

You should write at least 150 words in your reflective journal each week and be prepared to discuss the main themes of your entries in 5 minute discussions with the tutor.

A summary of the main themes of the reflective journal should be submitted during week 8 of the course and may include a discussion with the Lecturer about the extent to which you have reflected on the underpinning concepts of rehabilitation from an individual, family/whanau and community perspective.
