Teaching English as a second or foreign language entails the teaching of the English language to students with different first languages. The process occurs mostly in instances where the students are in a country where English is a mandatory requirement for their prosperity. The teaching process is mostly conducted for people who have immigrated to English speakers countries, or for foreign students who have moved to English speaking countries to seek for education. Different settings and schools are charged with the responsibility of conducting and teaching English as a second language to foreigners. Such teachings can be done either privately in language school, or publicly in-state school. Tesol teachers are required to be native speakers of English to ensure they offer the best services to the students. Students who undertake the classes on English as a foreign language are expected to perform better in their areas of specialization as well as interact better with the other students in the schools. Reading, communicated language and blended language are taught in any TESOL center, further enhancing the knowledge and experience of the foreigners of the English language. Undertaking the TESOL course is thus important for any foreigner who wants to learn or just interact with others in the foreign land.
