The Story of RyanAir

RyanAir is an Irish budget airline. One of the largest in Europe in its class. Founded in 1985 and named after its founder, Irish businessman Tony Ryan. It is not known what way Ryanair would have developed if it was not for the 1991 restructuring decision, which was carried out to reduce costs and increase profitability. It was then that it was decided to turn the company into a budget one – no business class.


Moreover, only remote airports are used. But the cost of tickets is much cheaper than the competitors’. The idea turned out to be excellent – the company began to develop at a rapid pace. In recent years RyanAir is often on the news. Moreover, newspapers draw their attention to this company because of the disappointing tendency of canceling the flights. One more problem is that pilots and other employees often go on strike or even change jobs for competitors.


The third problem is that RyanAir has very little money for a company, and is steadfast to lose even more. There are some solutions to these problems we suggest. The first one is to introduce a new system, where more discounts and special offers will be available. Moreover, Gate Representatives could have more power to manage some problems connected to customers. One more solution is to train all the employees additionally to enable effective communication and emotional intelligence.

Ryanair is an Irish airline company that has become popular as one of the largest financial organizations in the world. From the very beginning of its career, it was an average organization.

One year after its launch, the company started a fierce battle with Air Legos and British Airways to cut ticket prices by about half.
