What is meant by Data Consolidation? When I think of consolidation of data I think of sources and tables put all into one like a Pivot table.
What are some examples in which you might want to consolidate data? I work in retail and one of the things we do is compare how my BC (Beauty Consultants: Trained cosmeticians and extensive training in all areas of beauty) are doing weekly, also which brand is selling and if they have made commission. For example I have been trying to combine my BC sales, with all 6 brands, and then see were they fall commission wise based on their sales.
Which of these do you see yourself using in your job or personal life and why? I see myself using Pivot tables and Data Mining in field of work.
Analyzing large amounts of data is important for making solid business decisions. Entering data is the easy part; retrieving data in a structured, meaningful way is more challenging. Data mining is the process of analyzing large volumes of data, using advanced statistical techniques, and identifying trends and patterns i (Poatsy 339)

What if Analysis is a tool that help us to estimate possible values base on some specific data. In other words What- if Analysis tools allow us to experiment different scenarios without changing values of the spreadsheet. There are 3 kinds of What- if Analysis tools, which are Goal Seek, Scenarios, and Data Tables.
Goal Seek help you to determine your goals.
Scenario is a group of values that can be save and replace automatic in the worksheet.
Data tables help you to create one or two variables, depending the number of variables and formulas that we want to study in the data tables.
