Instructions for Formatting your document:

• Use Times New Roman type style with 12-point font size

• For the headings of the sections, use Times New Roman type style with 14-point font size (bold)

• 1-inch margins on each side.

• Indent each new paragraph and do not skip an extra line between paragraphs.

• Single spaced

• You need to create paragraphs when describing each section of the document.

• One or two paragraphs per section is fine.

• Proofread your business plan.

  • Make sure to include page numbers (on the bottom of the right hand-side)

Make sure to use in-text citations and ‘references’ section at the end of the paper. Neglecting (and not appropriately using) citations and references will greatly affect your grade for this paper. You need to use 20 key concept and define those concepts (key terms) from the textbook in

your business model canvas document.

2) The second page should be an executive summary. (page number 1)

It should look like this:

Insert a heading – EXECUTIVE SUMMARY – at the top of the second page.

 The executive summary is the first thing that the reader sees, but it’s the last part of the paper that you write. It’s a short paragraph. You should mention the most important elements of the

documents. Some of your stronger arguments, finding and recommendations.

3) The third page should describe the business. One or two paragraphs that discuss the business that you selected.

4) The rest of the documents should describe the business using the sections of the

Business Model Canvas. It should include the following sections (one or two

paragraphs per section):

1) CUSTOMER SEGMENTS: Who are the customers? What do they think? See?

Feel? Do?

2) VALUE PROPOSITIONS: What’s compelling about the proposition? Why do

customers buy, use?

3) CHANNELS: How are these propositions promoted, sold and delivered? Why? Is

it working?

4) CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS: How do you interact with the customer through

their ‘journey’?

5) REVENUE STREAMS: How does the business earn revenue from the value

propositions?

6) KEY ACTIVITIES: What unique strategies does the business adopt to deliver

its proposition?

7) KEY RESOURCES: What unique strategic assets must the business have to

Compete with its rivals in the market?

8) COST STRUCTURE: What is the business’ major cost drivers? How are they

linked to revenue?
