Business Environment, Innovation and Entrepreneurship

This course focuses on the basics of business by introducing students to business environments in which they focus on the big picture, identify internal and external opportunities for growth, and manage resources. The course will also present students with management techniques to help
them stay current and apply creative solutions to problems. Students will be introduced to the programmatic themes of globalization, leadership, teamwork, and ethics.
Course Outcomes:
Enhance the understanding of the present global business environment and innovation process

Analyze different kinds of product innovation process for the consumers at the different levels of the economic pyramid

Assessing the impact of product/service innovations in consumers from different markets

Assess entrepreneurial opportunities in the global marketplace for their viability based on
organizational assets and the business environment
Evaluate trends in the current global business environment for developing business
opportunities and improving sustainable business operations
Utilize methods, concepts and theories effectively in scholarly writing
Develop scholarly publishable papers.
